Tanja, don't leave the forum. You contribute a lot to the forum and the gallery. You would be a loss to the site. I acknowledge how angry you feel but you should definitely stay.
Thank U Denise, i'm really not! angry, i'm a bit sad, i feel sad. And i really don't wont to make a big fire, We can all have an adult conversation, but just delete posts and say be quiet, unfortunately that's not possible for me under these circumstances. I am just sad.
Let me join with Denise and say the same. Don’t leave - there are many who share your view, I agree with all that you’ve said. I don’t know what happened yesterday, it had all been dealt with before I looked in. What I’m sure about is that the POL team are in a very difficult position.
Tanja G. I share the views of others in saying don't leave the site. I jokingly made the comment that there aren't many women in our street who look like that, indeed in the whole world. It's just fantasy in an art form. Eric didn't aim it at anyone personally, so why take personal offence at something obviously just his and assume it's serious and shared by males in general other than "in your dreams" context. I have a wife three daughters and female grand children and I just laugh it off and move on.  None of us speak for anyone but ourselves and that's as it should be.  so why take it so personally?  I have a belief that when we attempt at  putting the world to rights we should start with the person in the mirror. I doubt very much if any of us see or measure up to Eric's fantasy level. It's pure fantasy and doesn't mean he speaks for the world. Why take it so personally? Move on and contribute your excellent art. Life's too short for animosity, and fantasy and imagination keep us sane more often than not.  Paint on..(-:   ps. I asked my wife for her view. She said:  "Beautiful girl, shame about the frock.. I had a good laugh. (-:

Tanja please stay with us on the forum and gallery you are an asset to both. Can I say that Dawn and her team are in a very difficult position even if they personally agree with you they cannot come out and openly say anything, they are tide by the commitment they have to their employer and must abide by their rules. They also cannot make a comment about a individual unless they are being extremely aggressive or rude towards others members. Can I say also that I and I know my fellow moderators feel strongly about what is happening and frustrated that there is very little we can do , I for one fully understand where you are coming from and support your views. I’m not a prude and like a most males don’t have a problem with a nude picture, painting, sketch but done in the right place and not sexualising the image, I personally don’t comment on anyone’s art that I think is offensive not only to me but others . I also understand that you not against digital art it just what displayed . Please keep posting your comments and your lovely artwork.
Please stay Tanja. I stopped viewing the gallery for the very reasons you state. Unfortunately it's not possible to add a new category. I removed much of my earlier scribbles as there became a preponderance of that type of work at the time, and I didn't want my work to share the same space.  If I have a bash at oils with an acrylic gesso base I don't consider putting it into both categories, to do so would be spamming I will continue to avoid the gallery.  But I sense a mood of baiting over the last weeks. To ignore baiting is to frustrate it.
Tanja… believe me, you are not alone here, but I’ve kept clear of commenting because things do have a tendency to get out of hand - this is what happened (again) in this instance, and Dawn felt that it was necessary to delete a few comments en masse almost. Please don’t leave! You produce some excellent and interesting work… and you always comment on my postings… do reconsider!
I think I need to set the record straight a little on some of the things Tanja has said.. just to keep things realistic... I don't post paintings of Women on the gallery everyday.. If your seeing those images that upset you on the gallery everyday, It's not me... I don't see them everyday, and I look at the gallery everyday... I only post paintings on the Gallery once, maybe twice a week.. Sometimes I go weeks without posting anything.. The majority of paintings that I have posted of women on the gallery in the past, have actually been face portraits..  or from the waist up.. The majority of them...most are fully clothed and sometimes their tops may be partially see through, but certainly not pornographic... I only ever got push back on two of them.. I never painted any paintings with large fully nude breast.. or giant asses.. Those were actually painted by other Artist,  so you can't blame me for that if it upsets you... I have seen them as well... Most paintings I post, have nothing to do with men or women at all..   While my paintings may be good, they could never be mistaken for a photo...  all that being said... I also don't want you or anyone else to leave..
Thanks to those of you who have written to me now. I think I'm going to take a big break. I have nothing against you Eric. I really appreciate your artistic ability. I just have something against the way the image of women is still portrayed on some platforms today. Sad thing. I will no longer enter into a direct dispute with you. Everything has been said now, everyone has their opinion. I'm glad that I can now express my opinion here without being deleted. Let's make sure it stays calm, no forest fires. I wish you all a good Christmas, Eric, don't be mad at me, it's actually not even meant personally against you, because I feel like you don't! do with bad intentions. I would just like my opinion not to be deleted, nor to be told that my opinion is "wrong", as unfortunately has already been read...
It is with my mornings detective demeanour I state, my magnifying glass is blurred by the breath of the guilty, but I have no need to be confused. I am in the right place. Ignore. Ignore. Ignore.  There is a single sparrow amongst us that pretends a tongue is teeth. Multiple names do not quantify an interested audience number when there is only one performing. The argument is mute and meaning to entice, would- be peers to fall for Gollum's tricksies. Keep on with your art everyone. The system is at fault, not you

Tanja,  I can only agree with what you have said and said very clearly. It is unfortunate that your comments have been removed while the latest image remains! Surely both go or none?  I have considered leaving myself but I really don’t want to, so will hang on for the moment.
Tanja - moderators have no control over the gallery, so none of us removed your comment and I think it would be a pity if you left us, given we're not the ones responsible.  Taking a break might well be a good move - for more than several of us, in order to regain a bit of perspective - but make it short! How, after all, would I have learned to do Umlauts if it weren't for you?
