I’ve been swotting all night😉
As soon as Alan mentioned Monet was the subject of his painting, I immediately thought of Manet, but I’m too slow! Didn’t know Jenny’s at all, though after looking up Henri Rousseau, I find his work so interesting and although looking a bit primitive, further study revealed that he was a great artist.
Here is another this is from one of my favourite artists, cropped from the actual painting. Hope it’s a bit more difficult than my last effort have fun .  .
Paul, this is going from one extreme to another! But I’ll have a think…..going towards water and reflection…..
Well that was the plan Marjorie Marples , thought you might like to get on the case with a couple of other art sleuths that are chomping at the bit. Oh I’m going to enjoy this one as Robert would say hehe 😜.
You b**t**d!
Ooh before the watershed even tut tut, I’ve been called worse than that in my time I assure you. Oh it even better than I thought , big smile on my face for  the first time in a week , thank you. By the way I’m dyslexic what does that spell .

You definitely sussed it out! I’m really enjoying this, was looking again at JSS, his reflections are superb! This challenge has really got me appreciating the wonderful skill of certain artists. Thank you Dawn!
Where is everybody? Fiona, Alan, Frank, Jenny! We can’t let Paul beat us!!
I’ve got an idea for another pen and ink, but I’d prefer to draw it out myself so I’ll have a go in the morning hopefully!
Hmmmm…..that’s a definite challenge Paul!  It looks like a watercolour, it’s a fairly loose style, so I’m going towards Wesson, Seago or even Aubrey Phillips? Or, am I miles off the mark…..you might have to give us a clue on this one Paul.
It’s a watercolour, he is definitely a British artist, your barking up the  rrrrright tree Fiona.
