Thank you Sylvia , they are a labour of love at the moment, I have to make myself paint other things or it would be horses forever. It’s it strange how we can suddenly become hooked on a subject, still better that than not wanting to do anything.
Love them Paul,  less is more👍
Sketchbook sketch from my Walton Gardens walk.
Lovely buildings Bari, but I am back to Life sketches again. Ashley and Chris the Tai Chi teacher.
Used to walk to Walton gardens frequently  Bari along the canal good memories ,thank you.  Linda have tried to get back to life drawing recently and found difficulty in seeing properly…have funny eyes.  Nice drawings. I did this walk yesterday with the lovely Sam Doggo.it’S a five min car ride up above my home then it’s a huff and puff even more upwards.. Above Llangwyfan Forrest.  It’s also part of Offas  Dyke .started a new sketch book.
Excellent sketching Sylvia really captured the mood 👌
Lovely sketch Bari, Sylvia your painting is excellent. Linda your portrait's are so good . I have nothing to add today had a busy day with Remembrance Day, and then unfortunately shopping. I’m sorry it’s taken me awhile to answer your question Sylvia re gel pens, have just googled Posca pen , gel pens are very different. The ones I’m use are a white gel ink one I bought fro Hobbycraft the other much better from my local art shop. I also bought a cheap set of coloured gel pens from WH Smith’s  to try out , not done anything yet . It’s the same ink that they put into writing pens but with the added colours. By a white one and have a go on some black or dark colour paper , have fun if you do .
Lots of great sketches and subjects. I was hoping to be back to my sketching etc by now but alas not. Very soon I keep telling myself with fingers crossed
Gillian I told the garden a thing or two as the leaves will still be there tomorrow.  So did my Sunday sketch instead…be strong.  Paul will look on the mighty Amazon my neares arty shops are 25 miles  away.  Thanks for info.
That's a really good sketch Sylvia.
A very quick watercolour sketch following a short walk at the old reservoir near by , don’t go very often and due to the light today I wonder why I don’t go more often. My impression of the reed beds Weston Turville reservoir, lat afternoon, completed in twenty minutes using the psi ting leftover in my pallet.
I rather like that. It conjures a sense of 'place', of peace and calm.
