Well done Linda 👍 nice reaper Denise obviously enjoys his job..
He's a jolly soul Bari.
At long last a sketch from yours truly! Ring of Brodgar using Derwent tinted charcoal pencils
Nice autumn colours Gillian looks like a good walk. My sketch is HMS Duncan the ship my granddaughter is on, she joins the HMS Prince of Wales in January for its maiden voyage now that the sea trials are over....
I recognised the ring of Brodgar immediately Gillian - very striking.  Bari I had to wait for one of those frigates to pass, before the Torpoint ferry could progress the other day, HMS Westminster, I do believe.  But what do those round things on top do?  I ought to know considering where I live, but I don’t.
Just dipping in with a few sketches I did earlier this week while waiting for hubby having a pre med for a small op early next month, amazingly as he was told unlikely to be until after Christmas. Anyhow these were done from the car as of course I couldn’t wait inside. One of the entrance and one of a lady in the waiting room just inside the window.
Not sure what they are Linda, the Duncan is a Destroyer. Anna is a chef so a doubt she would know...
It  Radar housing , inside will be radar arms turning around searching both the sea and air for ships and aircraft. Years ago you could see then turning , much the same ax on a ferry or cargo ship , obviously more powerful.   They also tell, them where to aim the guns etc.
That figures Paul.  If I were to guess, I would have said the same.  But warships all look the same to me apart from aircraft carriers. Well done Tessa for sketching.  Hope hubby is Ok.  My sketching this week is all of a naked woman.  I’m sure you don’t want to see that.  Next week though it will be a male with dreadlocks, much more exciting.
Thanks Linda. Yes he’s ok, nothing serious and hopefully all will go smoothly. He is going to a small private hospital which is playing catch up for the NHS. Goodness knows what it’s all costing them! I think you should show your female naked ladies, why not!? Our art group actually finishes this week for the Christmas break. It feels very early and as if not long since it restarted.
Great to see all the sketches, and to catch up with the gossip. Here is a rough sketch of Ely, completed painting is in the gallery.
Lovely sketch’s Tessa , hope all goes well for your husband.  Nice sketch Alan , I liked the painting it’s excellent, I love Ely it’s a fabulous looking placed, unfortunately all my days there were in the RAF Hospital.  A time limited sketch in sketch pad  , set my self the challenge to complete it in fifteen minutes, ran over by forty three seconds.
