Wow  that's beautiful Alan.
I have neglected posting anything on this thread for a while in sorry to say. There are some very nice sketch and paintings, I was looking at old photos and one caught my eye, as it brought back memories.  As a child I traveled to many different countries as my father was in the RAF. I used to look forwards to going to visit grandparents in Leeds, mainly due to the trams, buses etc that we did not see in the countryside were most airfields were , one thing I used to love to see and watch was the - bin men. Started as a sketch but have decided to add colours.
Paul, I was watching lunchtime news today and some bin men have a Xmas release of them dancing and singing whilst doing there work to cheer people up, so you are ‘on trend’!
I really like your bin men Dixie. Some more figures from me, people watching a match or football practice recently.
In Japan I saw bin lorries, that played a tune, just like an ice-cream van!  Dixie's bin men brought them to mind.
Nice one Alan - lovely colours!
The bin men are great Paul and I love the match day figures Tessa. Linda, I think that's a great idea  bin lorries playing tunes, I've never heard the like but I can see the thinking behind it. A happy workforce is an efficient workforce.
I've done a couple of sketches this evening, this was my favorite.
I tried to do an old mail train and my word, trains are so difficult to do. I've never attempted one before. Here is my effort and as you can see, there is plenty of room for improvement. I will certainly have to have a few more goes at this to get it looking right.
Cgreat attempt. Royal Mail had its own under network in London. I believe that some of it is open to the public as a tourist attraction where you can ride on an old train.
