Paul, that's a fine painting. Well done. I love the warm autumn colours too. We have deer everywhere in Scotland = every bit of forest seems to house them.
I think you mean Alan he painted the stag Bill. A quick sketch of a bunch of rusty old keys hanging on a nail, there are so many beautiful little things that we see every day that could make a superb sketch or painting. This is a potential painting, the rust and the pitting on the old iron ring is superb and challenge to get it looking right.
Oh right - I got the two of you confused. My apologies. The keys must have been a challenge, but you've pulled it off. Well done.
A new addition to the A3 sketch pad that I sketch horses in pencil for my two youngest granddaughters, the opposite page is divided into two so that each of them can write a story about the scene or horse .
Just been looking for this bit of the forum and realised it hasn't been used for a couple of months , so I've dug it out.   This is a very quick sketch in Brusho ink I have pinched a pic from a photographer from face book  I have got his permission.   It's a view from the Horse Shoe pass.  Looking towards Llangollen. . I've run out of ultramarine so can't get my big dark s . I have had this set sor about twenty years so will have to have a think about them.,
That's Pretty Sylvia...
Thank you Eric.   No music, listening to a play on radio 4 ....
Jeeze I've done it again...

Ahh yes, the afternoon play - good to paint to. Your sketch Sylvia, is superb. I haven't yet found the discipline to sketch daily but, know that I ought to!
Fiona mid doing it daily is a chore then don't....just come here to chat.
I will rename to March Sylvia as I never got round to doing it. Lovely picture by the way!
