Excellent start Gillian love the clouds looking forward to seeing the finished painting..
The finer detail is a headache with my tremor I can tell you! Might have to think outside the box to get thot right eg on the light/beacon. Feel a bit frustrated at the moment
Great clouds Gillian! It must be very annoying to not have a steady hand, but perhaps you can turn it to an advantage with a looser style.  Have you got a resting stick to rest your arm on?  I saw someone use an acrylic  resting bar recently, but I don’t know where to get one yet.
Actually I do have a mahl stick Linda but not really tried it seriously! Looks like I had better get it out and practice using it! Maybe I will be steadier tomorrow
Must have been a treble post very fat shaky fingers! Sorry folk!

Mahl stick is a good idea Gillian I use mine all the time for the fine details...looking back to the 1950's in Widnes while chilling out after a hard day laying a new floor through the kitchen, dining room and conservatory.
Nice sketch Bari. A 20 minute sketch done down on farm yesterday,  a old tractor and trailer ready for the scrap heap , just parked up a few years ago behind the old barn. Used a B7 graphite pencil and a blending stick, could end up as a painting at some point.
Nice sketches Bari and Paul. Here’s a wee sketch of a ruined bothy
Lovely sketches, Bari, Paul and Gillian.  Found a Perspex artists leaning bridge on Jackson’s website.  Other versions are available from other websites.  Looks like it is more stable than a Mahl stick.
