A couple of sketches of old trucks one in my pad and the other on the easel ready to paint. Need to make a few adjustments to the one in the pad , I notice from the photo a couple of mistakes.

I always marvel at your sketches/drawings of vintage trucks Paul reminds me of being a kid. My Dad was a panel beater and coach painter and he enjoyed working on the old cars and trucks in the 1950s and 60s. Sadly he died in 1971
Thanks Gillian, I was brought up around car and truck needing TLC , my dad was a mechanic in the RAF he trained at  Rolls Royce . He bought a garage when he left RAF and I helped out a bit for  a time. Love  the smell of old car , trucks , etc and the look of the old leather seats and paint work.
A quick inktense sketch of a gannet
Smashing trucks Paul and that's a lovely sketch Gillian.

Gorgeous gannet Gillian!  Tremendous trucks too, Paul! At least 3 of us have early March birthdays - mine is on 6th, but I share this with Michelangelo.  This will please the astrologists no doubt.  Are there any more Pisceans amongst us? But here is my sketch for the day, trying my hand at watercolour, which is not in my comfort zone.
It might not be in your comfort zone Linda but it’s painted really well.
Linda I totally agree with Paul! It’s good to step out of our comfort zone occasionally and you have created a lovely sketch! I really need to got back to watercolours! But my favourite is acrylic at the moment, however I am trying to master pastels!

Love the painting Linda...just back from a 5ml walk with a coffee and bacon barm stop..
Not heard anyone talk. about a bacon barm for many years Bari! Well been busy finishing a seascape and today did prep on a painting for my daughter who loves lighthouses. So here’s the early stage of that !
