Very pretty Gillian. It's really great that this sketching post continues. I was thinking, it's been going a long time and it encouraged me to take up sketching, something I never did. It's really good seeing what everyone does and how they go about things.

well done lovely painters, sorry was in watercolour challenge mind set there. been very busy at work this week, so just time for a quick doodle with pastel pencils. Bees on lavender.

Denise I totally agree I love seeing what everyone is doing and before I joined in my sketching has really improved and soon realised you can sketch with all mediums which I find quite liberating!  Nice work Bari and Alan!   I have been working on an acrylic seascape today so no sketch yet!

I am fascinated by stormy sea at the moment and I thought I would have a go at a breaking wave using pastel pencils. Have to say I am quite pleased with it. Think I will have a go with acrylics

That’s really good Gillian , get those paint out and onto do paper or canvas , they don’t belong in tubes .
