Robert….Joe is three months older than me …so old .
Great sketches, the barn, the singing duo, you have all been busy. Gillian, your acrylic with the knife is fab, you should definitely do some more. I finally finished adding a bit of colour to my drawing.
Thanks for the encouraging remarks everyone! Great urban sketch Denise! Here is this evening’s sketch
Nice one Denise looks like a modern church with the cross on the front, love the way the light catches it...Nice giraffe Gillian..
Sam Brown, I loved the song STOP, when it came out in 1988, still sounds good today. I also grew up listing to Joe Brown as he was one of my Dad favourites. love all the sketches,Gillian love your Monet inspired acrylic. mine today is inspired by things to come.
Giraffes are lovely creatures Gillian you enjoyed sketching this one.  Signs of  things to come ….. haven’t even bought my seeds yet Alan.like the dark background. Stop is one of my favourites as well ,nice lady is Sam we are still in contact even though she and my son separated.
Another stormy day today so drove 5 minutes from my house to our local cemetery on the coast overlooking Hoy Sound and this is a sketch of  what greeted me!

That’s a lovely sketch of the building Denise, it could be a theatre, or anything it looks very modern. Two vey nice sketches Gillian. The  veg etc looks good on the black paper Alam and very well drawn. I had the pleasure of starting of a new sketch pad last evening , I find it a bit intimidating but at the same time a bit exciting starting off . I think it the whole book of blank paper that is I initially a bit overwhelming, also a bit of fear of messing up the first sketch . This pad in following in Lewis Coopers footsteps and saving for specific sketches , it’s going to be for old vehicles, car’s, trucks, trains etc. I normally sketch then on a loose leaf A4 sheet , this time it’s A3 so scope to do slightly larger scale. My first in the book is of a old Albion tanker . I
Nice sketching everyone.  Mine is a very quick plain aire in Widnes town centre waiting for the better half to have some dental work done....
Super sketch Bari, I love the rare opportunity of doing a plain air sketch, but only when the weather is warm - can’t stand in the cold these days, too old 😀
