Good sketches all round. I also forgot the tv sketching though did look it up on YouTube when you mentioned it Gary. Maybe one for a wet day.
Good sketches Gary with Raw umber, I did the 10 mins and the 20 min ones but couldn’t catch up with the 30 min one.. yours are super real.. I will be doing the 30 min one tomorrow so probably will post it here .. v interesting as I have never done portraits..
Some excellent work folks. Something different from me today, a sketch/ burnt into wood. Done yesterday needs to be polished.
Wow Dixie, a new string to your bow! Is that the first you’ve done?
I normally do patterns on walking sticks that I carve, and sometimes small pictures of owls etc. This is a name plate for a door, I have done a couple of house signed for friends but not many. I like engraving picture into glass more, and have done several sets of glasses for friends over the past year or so.
Sounds good. Show again once it’s polished? Here’s my very quick pen sketch of some sheep in a field while it was blowing a gale this morning so didn’t stop long, also some Tombow pens which are new and very nice to use but I currently only have two!  My husband says my sheep have improved (slightly).

Lovely Tessa! I like your minimal marks conveying a scene.. you have made it seem effortless..
Great sketch on the ellipse Dixie.. I would love to see the finished one soon.. I am new to this in the sense I have not seen one before..
That engraved wood looks really interesting Dixie - should look lovely polished; and I think your sheep are good Tessa! Here is tonight's  v v quick night sky - watercolour and a waterbrush only.
Very effective Margaret even without your usual pen. On my walk earlier I spotted this rabbit in a field, very quick sketch before he disappeared. So it’s my rapid rabbit!
Great rabbit. I have not been able to join in and now it's the home schooling again!  I managed this as well as ink drawing as well as supervising school projects.
Wow Gudrun, I’ll have some of that! X
