Thank you Tessa - so do I - this one is absolutely glorious at the moment - love the volours at this time of the year.
I seem to be operating a day behind at present.  Here is my sketch from yesterday  - did this one for the Edinburgh Urban Sketchers virtual travel challenge.  Photo posted by Jennifer Paling.  It is an archaelogical site at Glanum, Saint Remy de Provence.

Nice one Margret, does not matter if your working behind, your still producing work that’s what is important.  Some hair bells or pixie caps from me today , making myself work on a painting at the moment and intend to finish this one.
Super Edinburgh sketching Margaret, you have some terrific buildings there that just ask to be drawn. Good flowers Dixie. This sketch I must admit to doing a couple of days ago in the garden when the weather was still sunny. Today the rain has reached us and it’s gone chilly again so am actually starting a painting!
Don’t you get cross when it all buggers off ...sigh. Once more dear friends.   Neither time or inclination to create recently... well not pencil and paper.  Though I feel a painting coming on.  This is my take , on some of the trees in the lanes where I walk Sam dog every day.  If I translate it into a proper painting I can grow grasses and spring flowers under the still bare branches.   The bluebells ,primroses, campions ,stitchwort and now the cow parsley are “at It “ . This is coloured pencil and pen in my A5 Sketchbook.
Beautifully delicate harebells Dixie - such a lovely plant;  very nicely sketched hand Tessa - a nice touch to have it holding a sketchpad; delightful sketch Sylvia.  Here is today's sketch - a very quick wc pencil and fountainpen sketch out of the window of Edinburgh Castle at sunset (we are very lucky as we are quite high up and look out over a lot of Edinburgh from different windows)
Very nice woodland Sylvia and your skyline is really nice Margaret. Bit of a cop out today as I using the basic drawing for a painting of a tractor. Have a good day folks.
Amazing tractor drawing Paul.. I am a newbie here in the forum so kind of figuring out how it all works.. Hope this moment is for the immediate drawing above or not.. still wondering..
Thank you Nandhini, what the aim of the thread is to sketch something each day and add it to the on going collection. Some of us started out in January and are still managing to keep going. Please do join us it does not have to be anything complex of big just a simple few lines can do the trick.  Welcome to the forum, look forward to you posting something, do look back a few pages at least and you will get a flavour of what’s going on and how different the sketches are.
Thanks Paul..
Hi Nandhini, I'm a newbie too and finding it hard to post every day (or every other day come to that) but enjoy the forum with some very friendly fellow posters.
