Hi Nandhini and Gary Always great to meet newcomers.  I am still a newcomer myself.  Looking forward to enjoying your art.  So far I have an intention to post every day but then that pest, Procrastination manages to slip through the postbox and drives me nuts and suddenly it is the next day with a new intention.
A little sketch of one of my favourite pottery jugs, one of those things that you could draw a dozen times and never quite get right!
Hi Nandhini and Gary, good to see new members.   I've been here since the start but I'm a bit lapsed - had a bit of a break where I continued to sketch daily but didn't post as much.  Look forward to seeing your work on here.   Dixie, you get such lovely detail into your tractor sketches.   Nicely sketched jug, Tessa.  Forgot to ask recently, how is your daughter getting on? Quick sketch out of the window towards the Observatory, Edinburgh.   Photo not very sharp - might try to get a better one later.

Thank you Margaret, I am just new to the forum and here’s a sketch I did today for a commissioned portrait of this dachshund..
Thank you Tessa/Gary/Sandi.. I am getting a hang of it .. hope I will fit in as I go along.. it’s nice to be part of a community here..
A lovely dachsund Nandhini.
The good weather has returned so we’ve been most of the day in the garden, but also did this sketch for the inside of a card for the lad across the road who is eight today and disappointed that he can’t have his usual party. He loves whizzing along the road on his scooter, hence the name!
Some nice painting and sketches ladies. A rough layout sketch to develop into painting of autumn fruits.
I like that sketch, Tessa!  what a great idea - I am sure he will like it :)   That looks a good start for a painting, Dixie.

Good portrait sketches Gary - I forgot about Raw Umber Day again - looks a good thing to try. Sat in the sun in the garden and sketched our tulips - ws wax crayon and watercolour markers.  A3.
