Here’s a quick sketch on a recent dog walk trecking round a very large field with some lovely old tree shapes and shadows.
Thank you very much Dixie, Tessa and Alan.  Nice fresh garden sketch Dixie, and that is a very effective sketch, Tessa - lovely colours.
My first attempt of painting lilies with acrylic, Im happy with how they turned out. Not sure about the roses.

Welcome Elaine, that’s a very vibrant cheerful painting , look forward to seeing more. Here’s mine for today, a tribute to the wonderful Captain Tom.

So true Dixie. I find myself thinking frequently of a trip to the beach!
Just noticed a black line in the painting, not sure where that came from?
Beautiful bright flowers, an excellent Captain Tom, very stylish (and beautifully drawn) trainers and a lovely tranquil seascape.  I did quite a lot of sketching outside yesterday - here is the one I did if the pieris. Apologies - the sketch is the right way up in the my phone gallery and as our router isn't working I can't use the laptop.
