I love the riverbank sketches, the village and all those birds! So on a birdie theme this is a little sketch of a tiny chick which my daughter has hatched from some eggs in a heated Incubator. Two of six have hatched successfully so far, one didn’t make it but the first two seem to be doing well, only a few days old!
Some really good sketches posted . Not a sketch but I thought I would put this on for Ron, hopefully remind him of his childhood days. Found it on line.
Lovely chick, Tessa, fingers crossed for them surviving. Good find Paul, sure Ron will be touched.
I love the little chick Tessa so cute.
Just a fun pencil pen and watercolour wash, finished off the scrapyard cars.
That’s great Paul, you do rust so well!
Thank you very much, Paul. It’s an era that’s gone but not forgotten. Don’t want to get too nostalgic now. Like your treatment of the scrap yard.  Love the bird theme, some really good sketches.
Hi everyone yet more great sketches! I enjoy a riverside walk most days, but a Spanish version!  Sweet little chick Tessa.  I read the comment about Paul’s  scrap cars as ‘ you rust well’ haha maybe you do rust well Paul but yes you paint rust well too! Hope you are enjoying your freedom Ron. Graphite sketch of a nearby village.
Oh Gillian, I didn’t read my comment about rust before I sent it, sorry Paul!😲great village sketch.
That’s ok a Katy , I didn’t notice it either, probably because I knew what you meant. I feel like I have rusted someday, especially with the rain today.
Just me Kate! The workings of my dodgy brain make me smile sometimes! Your comment was spot on as Dixie does do rust well! 😉
Thanks, Gillian, I’m certainly enjoying the fresh air albeit a little cooler than UK. Spending some time catching up with our children and grandchildren then heading off this week to find our new house. Hoping to get some sketching done soon, as we are house-sitting for friends on their 5 acre block and there are some great subjects on our doorstep. Biggest problem at the moment is finding art supplies.
