Scribbly is great Tessa. I do wonder what he is singing Ron, perhaps when you finally escape he will be there and you can ask him.  I really like the “discipline” (wrong word I know) of doing a sketch a day, gets the brain going.  Mines a quick one of a cottage some reality, some fantasy.
Very attractive cottage Hilary and a good view of your busker Ron. What strange memories you’ll have of your hotel lockdown and a variety of sketches to remind you!
Hilary, that is a very very good sketch of a cottage. I'll own up, the busker has a sign on the from of his cart and we tend to hear 'soft' Jazz and Latin American filtering through the window. Thank goodness it deadens the sound a bit, as he goes on for hours (even in the pitch dark). Tessa, it will be something to look back on certainly and coupled with my journal should be a good narrative. Hopefully we are out of here tomorrow, so I may not sketch for a couple of days - just revelling in the fresh air and 'pigging out' on good food.
On my morning walk I sometimes pass our local barber shop which has now reopened and made me think of this sketch/cartoon.
Love it Tessa really brought a smile to my face. During lockdown this was the one thing my other half really hated, not being able to have his hair cut.
Nice one, Tessa. Looked a bit like the guys on the left myself a few weeks ago, but fortunately have a family friend who is a hairdresser. Dabbled with a still life today. These have been very prominent in the bag meals for some time.
An apple a day, and all that! Hilary my hubby is the opposite, quite happy not to have his haircut, but I did attack it about a month ago so he’s ok for the moment. 🤨
What a lovely cottage Hilary,  love the barber’s queue Tessa  great fun. Love apples Ron but you can have too much of a good thing! Not much imagination with the bagged meals! Nothing from me yesterday as other things got in the way, hopefully I will have something later on!  Keep safe everyone!

Some nice work done over the last few days, I’ve been very lazy and done nothing in the painting or drawing line. Not had the enthusiasm for some reason, but have looked at the gallery, forum etc. A simple sketch of the bark on an aspen . Small  A5 pencil sketch.
Nice texture in that bark, Paul. Hopefully my final “quarantine” sketch. They don’t seem to be doing that much, but I’m sure it’s all happening in the part I can’t see. Pen and pencil.
Very rough sketch of a building in the town center to practice perspective the real one has multi coloured panel and wood slats on the outside and is very colourful, hope to do a pen and wash later.
