Hope you’re enjoying the freedom Ron and good luck with your house search.  Gillian I like the look of your village and hope the weather is better than UK yesterday.  As it was raining here for most of the day I couldn’t get out for a walk for inspiration so tried a tutorial online.  Not anatomically correct and the angle is not very pleasing to the eye, but great for shading and mark making practice
Looks to me like you’ve got your furry marks pretty well Hilary, and the ears and whiskers are very good. I didn’t get far either yesterday but this is done from a photo about a month ago on a hot day dog walking when I sat for a break on this old stone wall. It’s biro and pencil. Spot the spaniel!
This is lovely Tessa, I can see your spaniel!
Lovely stone wall Tessa and I can spot the spaniel too!  I do think cats are difficult front on Hilary, so you have done a good job. Nothing from me yet, might get to it later.
Soggy dog, not quick enough to catch it on camera so just an imaginary shake. Hasn’t got the movement I was looking for but it’s todays sketch.
Lovely cat  and dog so difficult to get certain movements. Like doing dog portraits but not done any for quite a while!  Nice Dry stone wall Tessa. Today a sunflower ( girasol)
Sunflowers always make me smile Gillian.  I can just imagine the dog doing the shake, reminds me of my childhood dog. Another rainy day here yesterday , this  iris unfinished is some watercolour practice, I was experimenting with layering and wet in wet effects.
Beautiful iris Hilary! My sunflower a bit rough in comparison 😉. Have Parkinson’s so fine work can be hit and miss these days! Going to have another look at it and see if I can improve it a bit!
I do understand Gillian, I have rheumatoid arthritis so have to wait for my joints to unstiffen most days before I can tackle anything 😊😊
Just a quick cartoon sketch from me this morning while listening to a radio report about prescribing bikes for people to get fit, and I thought what else? Maybe art stuff, that would be fun!
Lovely wall Tessa and cartoon, the dog shaking is great Katy and not easy to do. Your unfinished iris  is excellent Hillary. Now we come to the lovely Gillian,  I have never seen a sunflower grow perfectly symmetrical and paintings that show them ‘this way look false. There is nothing wrong with a bit of wobble as it adds character and makes it an individual flower, yours look real good to me. This is what I’m working on
Thanks you sweet talker Paul!
