Quite an enigmatic painting - it draws one back to it.

Thanks, Robert. It was indeed a unique expirence to do this painting. That day in the early spring, I looked straight through my window, and I saw a major snow storm move in. Suddenly lumps and lumps of wet snow poured down everywhere. The whole mountain was covered with thick clouds. Oh... it was a super moody scene. I tried to capture everything, but somehow the sun quickly moved in and lit up one side of the trees, which were loaded with wet snow. I guess the temperature was not that low. In a few minutes, the green grass poked out with no sign of any snow on the ground, although the trees were still covered with lumps of very wet snow. It was a beautiful scene. I was not equiped with the right knowledge and skill to express my feeling towards the scene at that time, but I painted it anyway. For a long time, I saw problems with the painting, but I did not know how to fix it. Now, after posting the painting, I seem to see the problems more clearly, but I am still struggling with how to fix it .
