Like this Wib. Like you I love textured wood and take lots of photos of old barns and buildings - funnily enough I don't seem to paint them much. Might be because I don't think I could do justice to them. Love the colours.

Textured wood has always been an attraction for me – particularly old barns which sadly are becoming fewer and fewer here in southwestern Ontario. This painting is of an old house with shuttered windows which over the years have received many facelifts in a rainbow of colours.
