This painting is of the Old Stone Mill and pond of a two hundred year old grist mill located in Delta, Ontario. The mill was declared a National Historic Site and was lovingly restored and operated by the Delta Mill Society. It is probably the only mill of its era that still grinds wheat into flour on millstones from the early 1800’s. If you would like more information on the mill go to: http://www.deltamill.org.
