Beautifully done, your certainly have captured the scene well, like the contrasts between the light and dark areas .

Superb artwork Martin.

Great sense of depth here Martin

Lovely work Martin.

This has a wonderful beauty and calmness about it Martin. You have portrayed nature at its best..

A moment in time brilliantly captured

The high contrasts really bring out the light Martin, a good one.

A beautiful shady scene as we cope with the heatwave!

Superb Martin. Really captures the heat of the day, sunlight and shadow. Lovely.

A beautiful scene captured perfectly with light and shade.

Terrific work Martin, love the light.

Brilliant Martin, one of your best - excellent treatment of the light and shade.

Wonderful pastel, Martin, great work!

Thank you so much for your positive comments. Always good to receive them

This looks so cool Martin, what would we do without trees? Especially this weather. Beautiful.

Great light and shade in this.

I love the contrast of the huge, solid, (looming) trees in juxtaposition to the small person and chair. Wonderful simplification of palette and unnecessary detail. I like that detail of the roots of the fallen tree in the background. You've handled space with expertise. A beautiful pastel.

Agree with the other comments. I especially like the way you have framed the view with the foreground tree.

Thanks again for your much valued comments

Beautiful shadows and depth, very well done.

Plein air pastel from my July trip to Clumber Park. The lights and darks were so vibrant in the strong sun we’re having at the moment. On Pastel Card 12.5x 9.5”
