A lovely peaceful scene.

This is a beauty. Your control of green foliage is admirable. Wonderful light on path leading viewer's eye. I like your selective use of black, unusual for you with your ink sketches. The gentle pink/purple in the foreground gives a pleasing contrast to the green.

This is excellent Martin.

So good. Great depth and colour.

A lovely plein air pastel

This works very well Martin, some good detail touches as well with the light flickering through.

This is a wonderful pastel work Martin.

It certainly catches the light, and the eye, Martin!

Love the light filtering through the trees and how you have painted the foliage and shadows Martin.

You've got the shading and contrast just right.

A lovely pastel Martin.

Thanks everyone for your support. Always appreciated

You have captured the scene well.

I used pastels because I thought they wouldn’t be affected by the heat as acrylic and watercolour can be. I was happy with my decision. Pastel on grey Fabriano Tiziano Paper A3
