Love your textured marks, Martin

It's a great small sketch, I always like your mark making Martin

A really good on the spot sketch , great for working up into a full sketch or painting at some point.

A beautiful sketch!!

Love it Martin, it's a great sketch.

Terrific sketch Martin.

Great picture Martin.

Very good Martin

A lovely sunny sketch - super!

You draw solid-looking trees without impatience. I like the tension in the leaning tree with those wonderful tendrils coming down in opposition. Beautiful sketch.

Lovely and tangled, can’t believe how small it is.

Thanks all very much for having a look and commenting. Much appreciated

I love this charming sketch Martin

Great job and you can kind of feel the branches snapping as they look real. Brilliant 👍

Thanks very much Ravindra and William

This is a former local railway line closed by Beeching in the 60s and now acts as an excellent nature reserve walk. One section in a deep cut and another high above the fields. Small sketch started en plein air with black Unipin pen and coloured indoors with dry Aquarelle pencils. In pad of rough cotton paper 5x3.5”
