Smashing Martin, great sense of depth and i like those grasses in the foreground

Really lovely, Martin.

Beautifully captured and painted.

Beautiful.

Really good Martin, excellent colour.

This is brilliant Martin. I like everything about it.

Super effects and sense of depth Martin.

This is a lovely calm scene, the grasses in the foreground are really well done

Wonderful perspective, the eye travels from the foreground to the distance and back to admire all the details. So little colour yet the water is so credible.

Great sense of place Martin and I love how you have painted those ponds.

A super piece Martin, it keeps your eye moving around the view.

Love this Martin!

This is really good you have caught the look beautifully and captured the atmosphere of dampness etc.

Fabulous work, Martin, love the colour and textures.

Love everything about your painting Martin, it evokes your title completely. Really like the way you have emphasised the tufts of dead and lighter grasses in the foreground.

Absolutely gorgeous, love it

Walked here on my birthday a couple of weeks ago and was delighted that the weather turned kind. The colours were amazing. This view was along a path that disappeared under the water because of all the recent rain so I stopped and sketched for a while, then turned back to a dry main track.
