This is a superb painting. Great colours and wonderful detail on the cliffs and foliage.

This is excellent Martin. I love the movement in the grasses of the foreground and can see why it’s one of your favourite walks. Well done for persevering and getting it finished.

Excellent artwork Martin 👌

Beautiful.

Love the way your sky and long grass in the foreground convey a breezy day Martin. A painting to be very proud of.

That's a cracking painting! Super grassy foreground! I concur about size! Well done for persevering!

Wow, that really is a biggie. It's really good Martin and worth all the effort. Super brushwork and sense of distance and I particularly like those windswept grasses in the foreground

Thanks for your supportive comments Spencer Tessa Stephen Shirley Chris Talia and Heather. I’m so glad some of you like the foreground as I find that area the most challenging in paintings.

It was worth all the effort Martin. It is a cracker. The lovely wispy grasses in the foreground and the sky have a great sense of movement in them.

A super painting Martin; definitely worth all your hard work! A great palette and like everyone else, I think the foreground grasses are great with the breeze blowing through them. I could definitely imagine what it would feel like to be there.

Excellent painting Martin, the foreground is super and the distant cliffs are just right. And the size is impressive, I make that 48"X 40" in imperial, is that right ?

This is so impressive Martin. I bet it looks fabulous in the flesh. I love how you’ve painted the foreground maram grasses, waving in the breeze and the whole scale of all that beauty. You should be immensely proud of this exceptional work.

Fabulous vista Martin, just my thing… great job done here!

Thank you David Karen George Carole and Alan. Really appreciate your kind words. You are right about the approximate size in imperial George

I’ve walked there on many occasions… you’ve really captured the breeze! Super painting

Thanks Helen. It’s rarely without a breeze up there isn’t it

Stunning view and a stunning representation of it Martin.

This is one of my favourite walks along the cliff top from Flamborough Head to Bridlington. It’s the biggest painting I’ve attempted in 30 years starting in February and doing an hour or two when I could. I remember now why I don’t do big paintings very often! Acrylic on canvas 120x100cm
