Tagish Lake is located 100 km south of Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon Territory in Canada. Given the evening light with subtle tonal variations, and that the work was undertaken en plein air, I decided to use Derwent Graphitint pencils augmented with Prismacolored pencils (only two colours used). I found that the media referenced are highly versatile in plein air art work. I used Canson “Bristol” XL series paper: 96 lb, 260 g. The picture dimensions are: 9.75 inches by 5 inches
