Is My Breakfast Ready by Thalia Stones

Love this Thalia - great colour, composition and subject.

I love it and what a great dog you have too

Love your shapes in this Thalia

It’s all about the bold shapes and colour. Is it your dog Thalia? Parts of it are quite abstract…and interesting.

Great narrative created. I recognise the intensity of the dog’s attention

Very colourful, Thalia - your shapes are so good!!

It's a great shape experiment. I love your complimentary colours.

I’m liking this approach Thalia…

Wonderful work Thalia.

Love the colourful, animation of this scene Thalia.

Thank you so much Shaun, Heather, Frank, Marjorie, Martin, David, Bobbie, Alan, Denise, and Carole. your comments are really helpful in directing my experimental pathways. Yes, Heather, Martin, and Marjorie, she's a blind rescued Maltese Tal Caccha, 12 years old and extremely doddery, she has everyone wrapped around her [very large!!] paw, we adore her!!

Looks lovely, sunny and warm! I hope you enjoyed your breakfast.

Good experiment. Love the loose brushmarks especially the dog.

Has a lovely charm about itl Tlhalia. Nicely done indeed.

It's also, presumably intentionally, an experiment in colour relationships - the classic pairing is of Ultramarine with Burnt Sienna, and I think you've used Ultramarine, but with a more powerful orange, the two vibrating against each other to produce an arresting image. I like it - and the classic hungry dog pose.

Love this colour palette Thalia and the way you have put the paint on- Loose and painterly

Thank you so much, Gudrun, Val-Irene, Chris, Rachel, and Robert. Yes Ultramarine, violet and touch of b sienna in the shadow, but Turquoise in the pure blue. My phone camera intensifies the blues too much

Really good combination of colours and shapes Thalia. The dogs pose and the way you have painted her is superb.

Thank you very much, George, I've drawn her so many times...but a moving target!!!

Love this Thalia, great story telling!

Love the hungry dog pose.

Great color and arrangement
