Dawn Catch

This has real early morning atmosphere Thalia. You can almost feel the sun waiting to break through. Lovely work.

Love this Thalia,I don't know why you weren't happy with it but it's a beautiful picture 😀

Well I think it’s lovely. Obviously we didn’t see the earlier version to compare? Your usual palette really suits the Mediterranean scenes and colours , but it’s interesting to try something different isn’t it? I bought a set of Cobra oils which were on offer and largely untouched because some of them are really garish, but I have tackled some to see what I can mix and it’s fun to do so, otherwise it’s easy to get stuck in a rut.

Thank you very much, Jim Linda and Tessa. I wrote to thank you all earlier but it didn't go through for some reason, should have taken a photo, Linda...not good colours at all! Now I'm much happier! I totally agree Tessa1 I have several tubes of oils that I rarely use, but as you rightly say, you get stuck in a rut if you're not careful!

I like this Thalia, it has got the feel of early morning, super work!

Really like this, Thalia

Absolutely beautiful, and I love the colours Thalia.

Thank you so very much for your kind comments, Margaret, Maureen and Sandra.

This is a lovely quiet scene...looks very peaceful to me. The colours are lovely, easy on the eye...know how you feel about starting a picture and not being happy with it. I've got a few like that, that I still can't face yet! LOL

Hang on Studio Wall

I started this several weeks ago using only two or three colours, ones that I don't normally use, not happy with it I put its face to the wall! I returned to it with my usual palette, and feel it works better now. Comments and help much appreciated as usual!
