Well I think it’s lovely. Obviously we didn’t see the earlier version to compare? Your usual palette really suits the Mediterranean scenes and colours , but it’s interesting to try something different isn’t it? I bought a set of Cobra oils which were on offer and largely untouched because some of them are really garish, but I have tackled some to see what I can mix and it’s fun to do so, otherwise it’s easy to get stuck in a rut.

I totally agree Tessa1 I have several tubes of oils that I rarely use, but as you rightly say, you get stuck in a rut if you're not careful!

This is a lovely quiet scene...looks very peaceful to me. The colours are lovely, easy on the eye...know how you feel about starting a picture and not being happy with it. I've got a few like that, that I still can't face yet! LOL
