Woodland Walk, Bourton on the Water.

Lovely Tessa. I like how we look down the pathway and through the trees.

Good walk Tessa!

It looks like a lovely winter walk you have had today Tessa.

Thanks so much Spencer, Heather and Denise. It is a nice walk, still a bit mucky after recent weather!

How long did it take you to do this Tessa……it’s terrific! As I said on one of your earlier paintings, I love the sketchiness. I especially like how you are leaving, or very thinly painting over, the weave of the canvas/texture of the support.

Going on what Marjorie said on the Forum earlier it took me about 50 years Fiona! Actually an hour or so? Thank you.

I saw you work and read your piece in the Leisure Painter Tessa, interesting. I also learnt a lot in my early days from Van Gogh. I can even see his influence in the piece, straight into it no holding back.

Aha thank you John. I haven’t seen LP myself yet. Need to get a copy!

Lovely, lively, work Tessa.

Thank you Carole.

You have certainly captured the season in there Tessa a beautiful painting of a beautiful area to live and work.

Thanks Dixie. Fortunately I don’t work any longer! It is indeed a lovely area and five minutes walk gets you out of the village. Thank you also Coral.x

I love this one essa. It captures the muckiness of current countryside lanes wonderfully

Good to hear from you Willie. Yes it was a mucky walk, but pleasant. The sun. Thank you.

I like it… always beneficial to work from nature rather than imagination! Congrats on the Star letter in TA…

Many thanks Alan. I just received my copy, very pleasing.
