Many thanks all. I meant to say this was painted with one 1/2” brush- great fun. I was thinking of removing some of the red underpainting but the art group said no so I left it at least for now! Alan I also liked the winner’s submission. Often I don’t agree with the choice of winner but feel that they generally do a really good job with the final commission and the challenge is always interesting. I guess the judges see something that I don’t.
