Well I'm impressed Tessa, I think it's great!

Well if you want honest feedback back Tessa I think it’s a whole load of excellent work. Tell them some people just don’t appreciate what they see or know a good painting when they see it , but only do that if your never going back.

That's a bit special Tessa.

I like it Tessa!

Tessa, it’s gobsmackingly FAB! I love it, it’s adventurous, contemporary and very well designed and painted. More please.

Love this one, Tessa, a really interesting style. Lovely blend of colours and the delicate row of flowers contrasts nicely with the bolder abstract shapes in the foreground.

Many thanks Russell for your speedy response! Dixie, thanks as always: your tempting suggestion made me smile! Sylvia, Romila and Spencer, many thanks for being positive and lovely. Fiona, you are a star! Fab? I’ll take that.Would you pop down and run my art group please? 🤣 And Jenny, thank you so much. It helps so when you get positive comments, and makes me keen to try again.

Oh this looks magical ✨️

I really like this Tessa, a very striking piece of work. I like the contrast of the looseness of the flowers behind the flowing foreground. Beautiful colours too. Comparing this with your earlier version, it gives me a the feeling of going from winter into full-blown spring.

I really, really like this Tessa. Different...yes, and why not try something different, love the use of colour and flowing lines.

I like it Tessa, very eye catching and appealing

Good experiment, Tessa. I love experiment. I think that If we experiment we make progress. I like the hole result.

Thank you Faye. Magical sounds good! Karen many thanks, I hadn’t thought of the change to Spring effect but yes I see it now. Good to see what other people see in ones work, that’s what this is all about I think. Many thanks Heather, always appreciated. Coral, thank you again, you make a good point about experimenting.x

I like the idea of that path through the field. Yes it has a joyous feel, clean bright colours….and it’s quite intriguing.

Thank you Marjorie. I like a painting with a story to it!

Love this Tessa!

Really interesting work Tessa. That crossover between abstract and real. My first thought was that it was humanoid without a face

Many thanks Guy and Martin. When I started the first version, and probably this, I did think of a human face shape, so could be something in that! It fascinates me what others see in a painting.

It’s good to change your style occasionally Tessa (but with me all the time!), and I like your painting and the colours you’ve used

Thank you Frank and yes you are correct!

Agree with all the comments, I really like it.

Like the originality of this Tess and the lovely clean lines, it also has a feeling of mystery about it.

Thank you so much Valerie and Carole for your encouragement.

This is absolutely superb! Just love the colours you have used!

Thank you David, glad you like it.

I really like this. The colours are lovely and those beautiful gestural lines remind me of calligraphy or japanese brush art.

Thank you Gary. I must admit that some of this felt like sign painting which was quite fun, especially as my usual style involves trying to paint looser.

That circular shape reminds me Paul's latest painting of rain forest matter Tessa. I do feel something special to it, like if I was driven to look through the naturally made ring ;) The shapes made by nature can be very intriguing indeed! I do enjoy looking at your stunning painting the same way I did Paul's. Nice artwork, well presented, something to look to relax...

Thanks so much Art, I’m happy with how you look at this and through it with such care and detail. And you are very right about the intriguing shapes in nature.

Very different - I really like it, Tessa

Thanks Maureen.

This makes me want to walk through that portal! It's fab😊 I think lukewarm comments are hiding envy......

Thank you Kate, I will hold that thought!

This is a larger and more ‘complete’ version of a mixed media experiment I posted recently. This one is A4 on Bockingford watercolour paper using gouache, various pens, coloured pencils. I showed it at my art group half way through and don’t think they were impressed! 🤣comments like not your usual thing, very precise for you….🤷‍♀️ Comments welcome -polite only please!
