The colours of the stubble and tracks left by the combine and tractor’s etc after the cut, are spot on Tessa.

A very quick and abstract oil sketch on 8x10” board. Avoiding detail, just trying to capture the feel of the day, between the showers and downpours! Painted from imagination- not a specific view but from driving and walking around the local countryside recently.
