Gary Martin

Biography

I am an Artist and Illustrator based in Cheshire. As a child I would spend hours with pencils, pens or brushes in my hands, lost in the creation of my latest drawing or painting. Many years later I discovered how wonderful art can be to calm the mind after caring for my terminally ill mother. Drawing and painting is my passion and I have now gone full circle, concentrating on my art and freelance illustration work. I find painting a mindful experience, getting lost in the moment, experimenting with art techniques and letting my work grow and develop naturally - with a strong classical realism influence.
