I’m way over seventy Tessa almost eighty and not a hairy leg in sight. I really will rebel if any one puts a ball and chain n me. Nice topical sketch.

A 69 year old neighbour of mine made the same comment as your sketch today Tessa, and how ridiculous even a day's difference can be in reality.

Great sketch Tessa. Love your humour. At least I might get more painting done if I’m stuck indoors.

Damn good Tessa, keep safe everyone!

Thanks all. We need to see the funny side while we can! No hairy legs here either Sylvia, and you’re right Jim, a day is a long time at the moments, Carole, as you say we might get more painting done hopefully, and Alan agreed, keep safe and well all. x

well if you didn't laugh it would be a case of crying. Think we are upto 9 affected persons at present time ( country wide) but certainly the powers that be are tightening up and threatening tougher measures for anyone skipping self isolation. At least it is good that we can still see the funny side aided by work like this. Good on you.

So true and a great sketch. Are they going stop and search and demand identity? Strange old world.

Made me laugh and a great sketch!

I guess they have to take precautions, but they are talking about 4 months for over 70's. The 69 year olds must be fit as a fiddle. Great pic, Tessa. Usually you have to produce ID to show you're over 16 or 18, will we have to produce it to show we're UNDER 70?? Unusual times, indeed.

Very topical, Tessa - hope everyone keeps safe :)

Thank you all for your comments . Mike stay safe in beautiful New Zealand. Yes it’s a strange old world, and getting stranger by the day. x

Great sketch, typical British humour, it will get us through. Probably get the gardening done and the garage tidied, oh and lots of painting, starting with the garage door. Better make the best of this week and go to as many place as I can, only joking we have avoided cafes etc for the past two weeks. As said keep safe and well.

Thank you Dixie.😊

This has really made me laugh this morning Tessa, great sketch amid all the doom and gloom!!

As an afterthought Tessa, my granddaughter sent me a text that said " at least you'll have a clean house, a nice garden and plenty of paintings!!!"

Hopefully true Linda! X

What a sad world we are in at this time. Love the drawing! Over 70, I have to get out somewhere or I would go bonkers!

Agreed Carole. I’ve just come back from my morning walk. I’m not quite 70 so still allowed out, but I was out for an hour and only saw a few others. I’m fortunate that we can be in the countryside in minutes.

Indeed. I have cleaned the fridge. Next week will involve home schooling I think ....

Lol......brilliant Tessa, made me giggle. I was out locally today and you wouldn’t even know anything was amiss here. When I see news reports it’s as if it’s happening in another world.

Thanks Gudrun and Fiona. Yes it seems to be different in various areas. It’s all very weird, and only the beginning !
