Beautiful

Beautifully done Sylvia, I do like the look of gorse and it has quite a nice smell too the bees love it ,

Good half hour Sylvia

It’s a sight for sore eyes in the dark winter months, and an early feast for the insects. Your gorse is a lovely cheerful feast for us Sylvia, love that touch of purple with the yellow.

Love your flower sketches on the black paper, Sylvia, this is beautiful. The heath where we walk is full of gorse bushes - I prefer the broom, it doesn’t have the lethal spikes, but don’t see much of it these days. Surprisingly, some horses will quite happily eat gorse.

Almost missed this Sylvia. Love the bright yellows and greens against the dark background and the fact that it is starting to sprout out everywhere now.

These are so pretty Sylvia.

Golly gosh you must all be sitting there waiting to make nice comments . Thank you .🌻

Lovely bright yellows on the black paper.

Aww lovely for you and Sam to see 👀 very pretty 😍

Delightful Sylvia.

Excellent half hour - really very good,

It could only be yours. Lush and vivid against that background. Love it.

Lovely, Sylvia!

A lovely painting Sylvia. It looks great on the black background.

Fabulous illustration.

How lovely of everyone to comment. Big thanks .

There’s quite a bit of gorse on the dunes and it’s beginning to flower. I love the “ coconut” smell it has later in the Spring. This, as everyone says, looks brilliant ( in both senses) against the black. Here, the leaves make it look slightly oriental, I’m thinking “ kimono”.

I did do a bit of Chinese brush painting many years ago Marjorie . I wasn’t. Very good . But maybe something stuck.

Ooh that’s nice Sylvia.

Seen on Sams walk this morning. Gorse is around almost all the year. Lethal if you get mangled up in it but so bright and cheerful. About half an hour ,gouache into my black book .
