Lovely burst of colour Sylvia. You have painted the background beautifully.

It lovely Sylvia, your so lucky to have that next door . My neighbour specialised in long grass and lots of brambles and nettles , ground ivy etc, gets everywhere.

Thanks Carole and Dixie…..I’ve got the long grass and brambles.

What a riot! You do these so well. And I like the 'fill the image' composition.

Just spotted this on the forum, lovely Sylvia.

A garden full of cheer, beautifully done!

A delightful painting

A lovely painting Sylvia.

I had a blouse similar to this once, Sylvia. Someone called it my seed catalogue blouse. I like this even more than the earlier one.

So pretty and colourful with the flowers peeping through the grasses!

Super work Sylvia!

Delightful and so lively Sylvia. I do especially like yellow in flowers.

Thank you everyone, might rename it “Seed catalogue “ Marjorie.

Excellent Sylvia. A really vibrant piece of work.

How lovely ! For real and on paper this is what we need to see every day . An excellent painting Sylvia.

Lovely bursts of colour, so nice to look at

Lovely cheerful painting.

Isn’t nature wonderful. Love painting, Sylvia.

Wonderful riot of colour and beauty Sylvia…..it’s a bugs view at ground level looking through the grass and wildflowers.

Thanks Chris and ladies( sorry my memory and typing don’t coordinate) it was fun to do.

Really good work Sylvia. On close up the paper looks a little like Two Rivers but may not be. This also never has a watermark. Still made and great to use.

Sylvia, back again. Alternatively the paper could be Fabriano Rough

Wild flowers at their best Sylvia.

Superb, Sylvia - so full of immediacy and depth. The layers are beautifully done.

Thank you Val, Seok and George. Thanks for those comments George re the paper.a suggestion on the forum has been made that it might be Whatmans which is unobtainable these days. I will certainly look at your suggestions as it is such a joy to use.

Sunny and bright colour and full of cheer Sylvia!
