Ah-Hah! So that's where my pesky monkey got to!!

New you would recognise him Ruth . He was cheeky Gudrun he/she (didn't look) used sign language to ask to see what i was doing. Not sure if he/she was flattered.

Must have been flattered Sylvia great pose!

Love it Sylvia, and your humour. Nice work.

Well Aunty tuppence look ape for being chosen for the sketch Sylvia.

Such a good chimp sketch Sylvia. Life and character..it's all there. All the better for being drawn in situ and he posed well despite not being paid :)

Thanks for lovely comments. It was a special moment. Must go back when it's warmer.

He looks very chunky, Sylvia. Very chimpesque! I'm off to Newquay Zoo tomorrow and hope to see a Fossa and a civet. so who knows what I will produce tomorrow.

Great life study Sylvia she's giving her best profile

It's a great sketch Sylvia! I'm sure he enjoyed the attention he got from you.

Beautiful sketch, Sylvia.

Looks like he knew what you were doing so was quite happy to pose for you.

I wasn't surprised to read he/she used sign language to see what you were doing...We really know nothing about what goes on in those heads, do we...Amazing really. Actually he looks very like a professor of philosophy I once knew...! Good work. But on second viewing he/she isn't Pesky Monkey so I just have to keep looking........

Brilliant sketch Sylvia, very nice work.

Ta for happy comments everyone. No its not your Pesky Momket Ruth . Keep on looking.

Soddin predictive text....Ruth......MONKEY.

Just excellent, Sylvia! Love the bold confident lines of your sketches, and there's so much life, character and attitude to this piece.

Thank you Seok

Cold day at the Mountain Zoo here in north Wales . So found myself a perch in the chimp house. ''Twas slightly warmer. Fascinating time sketching some of my relatives. Not much finesse but then they weren't being paid. Pencil sketch with added watercolour.
