Looks a lovely walk

Like it - on the Forum, you say your walk in the woods doesn't really look much like this, but who cares? If you wanted a realistic interpretation of your walk, I'm sure you've got a camera. This is much livelier and more interesting than a faithful representation would have been. Although I know you could do that too, if you wanted to!

Thank you Anne and Robert. It was just fun to do. It initially looked far too sober so I decided to tart it up a little.

Looks great - like the scribbles

Great sketch book scribblings Sylvia!

Imaginative and love the whole experience you have created Sylvia.

Your concertina book is going to be an absolute gem. You have a unique take on things, which surely is the whole point of art.

Smashing inspiring work, Sylvia!

Fantastic Sylvia.

Really like all the squiggles, works very well indeed

Excellent Sylvia, your squiggling real well , and seem to on a painting high at the moment. I recall you posting about your concertina book a long while back.

This has a real energy to it Sylvia. Lovely scribbles!

You certainly know how to tart it up Sylvia, a cracking painting!

I love those marks, it gives the impression of tangled undergrowth. A lovely walk and a lovely sketch.

All those "scribbles" are so effective Sylvia, a brilliant interpretation of weeds and undergrowth.

Love your quirky style with its interesting markings Sylvia. Very effective.

So many lovely comments BIG thank you .

Ooooo….scribbles! It’s alive Sylvia!

Love this Sylvia, so scribbles are amazing!

Interesting white pen squiggles. Lovely result Sylvia!

In some ways it’s a pity you can’t frame this….love it!

This is stunning work, Sylvia. I just love the energy that's buzzing off the pages, and the wonderful use of space and shapes that really add so much wonderful artistic tension to the piece. I could look at this for hours!
