Thank you very much for your comments and support. I think i am improving with time. I sent it to my friend Premal and he said that the macaw is still alive and well and now with him in Costa Rica where he migrated about ten years ago ! So yes, it has a long life.

My friend Premal J Sheth had two beautiful macaws for years in his house in EaU Claire, Wisconsin, USA. He had names for them but affectionately called them "Beta" Or "son". I recall my visit and the amazing relationship between human and bird. It was like father and son, total love and loyalty. So, part of my learning process in bird painting, here is a painting in memory of a noble bird, completed yesterday. The visual is a stock photo. Watercolour on paper.
