The Red Macaw

The original was of a bird with natural sky and sunlight behind it. I needed it to be in nature. Hence the green background with a few bamboo shoots from my bamboo plant. I was having difficulty getting the exact light blue in water colour but Charles Evans' excellent free tuition on the use of watercolour pencils solved my problem. Thank you Mr. Evans. So this is a watercolour, with watercolour pencils and a few bamboo shoots.
