Many thanks Alan, can’t take any credit for the composition, I looked up Mr. Haskins and he has done several versions of this Lane in Winter. Perhaps he lives there?

I like the addition of colours in this version, Stephen. The figures look very natural - something I find difficult!

Many thanks Anne and Paul. I had a video by John Yardley some years ago, he advised making one leg a little shorter than the other and darkening it, being in shadow of the body. It does seem to suggest movement and I usually still do that.

Decided to add a little colour with my Inktense pencils. I think the original was painted in Acrylics and is much stronger.
