What a place this is...pure fantasy...you couldn't make it up...but somebody did. Never been there except with the Raiders of the Lost Ark movies. It must be tough to take pics and get it all in. Your painting captures the sense of crowded space that I imagine must be there.

A4 Watercolour and Inktense. I will always remember the thrill of the first glimpse of the Treasury, coming through the gorge. I used holiday snaps and referred back to David Robert’s famous painting of the Middle East. Not sure about the result, but a great memory.
