Such a small one and very good

Well done Sarah, and I don’t mind it being a bit wonky, adds character! Sensible to start small I think.

Very good, Sarah!

It’s a lovely print Sarah, best to start with something easily handled and develop your skills .

Definitely worth persevering Sarah, but as you’ve mentioned, this is far too small to cut Lino accurately and safely, the latter being most important obviously. I used to work at an engineering firm in Melbourne, so I know it well… the Melbourne Arms in particular!

Nice one Sarah. I’ve never tried linoprint but it looks fun. Has a 70’s look about it

Well done, Sarah especially working so small!

Thank you very much to you all - much appreciated! Yes I thought I would start small and simple but I soon thought 'actually this is hard because of that!'. It forces you to slow down though, which is no mean feat with me 😉 The Melbourne Arms was a lovely pub Alan, sadly it's now a house but at least the wonderful building remains!

Thanks for that… I remember the Billabong bar in particular. I worked at Melbourne engineering as an artist for the catalogues etc, sadly that is no longer there.

All good things come in small packages Sarah, and your lovely Lino cut qualifies perfectly.

Well done Sarah nicely done indeed.

I like your print. Its very eye catching.

Thank you Fiona, Chris and Bobbie. Interesting to read about your time in Melbourne Alan, thankfully quite of few of the other pubs remain!

A lovely print Sarah, and so small, well done.

Thank you very much Karen!

This is so lovely Sarah- sorry late to post on it, but only just seen it!

Oh thanks very much Rachel, much appreciated !

Melbourne in Derbyshire, that is! Am trying to devote some time to printing as I've always loved it, and this is a slightly wonky linoprint. It's tiny (3 x3 inches) which is probably not sensible for a first attempt but I enjoyed the process very much.
