Satu, I love the almost ghostly way you have interpreted the photo to produce this portrait....l guess it was a sepia photo?......the colours, tones and bold brush strokes work beautifully.

I agree with Fiona, Satu...vigorous, expressive brushstrokes. Very striking portrait and highly original painting.
