It's the ethereal and fresh feel that you get from this painting that is so good. It's not just a reproduction of a scene; it is a reproduction of the feeling that the scene conjures up, which I think is excellent. I find it difficult to explain why I like this so much. All the elements work.

Inspired by the lovely fresh greens this spring I painted a view near me. The river is so beautiful and tranquil now and it's a favourite place for the locale people to have their afternoon walk. Acrylic on canvas 50cm x 50cm.
