Wow Sarah, very impressive, this must have been a challenge for the eyes. You certainly wouldn't want to have a drink and paint that one! Marvelously done, absolute accuracy in the way the zebras stripes go. Wonderful and obviously very difficult commission, they must have been delighted. Paul

This commission has been a bit of a departure from my typical dog and horse portraits. My client wanted the whole painting to be monochrome and to give a kind of 'magic eye' effect. I found this very difficult and it will be some time before I paint a zebra again but I'm quite pleased with the end result. Oil on board, 20 x 20"
