Beautiful painting Romila, I too love that shaft of light and the contrasting shadows.

I agree- lovely painting and sunlight on the field makes it. If you want a tiny suggestion-lifting or lowering your horizon just a little would make it even better. To me it’s too central but others may disagree!

In my view lifting the horizon will make the foreground shadow much larger and lowering it will make the sky too large. you are right though I didn’t notice that it is falling bang in the middle. Never mind, all part of learning 😊
