16" x 20" oil on canvas I first drew this subject in October 1988 and I have painted a few misty autumn versions. Then, for a few years, I couldn't find the spot again. I rediscovered it in February this year. This is painted mainly from a photograph taken on that day but with my 1988 sketch as an additional reference.
