Lovely tones and man and dog really add to the whole composition

Beautiful, Stephen, really glows. Love the silhouetted man and dog and the way you’ve done the layered hedge on the right.

this is wonderful and I really like how you've painted the figure and their dog. It's an absolute beauty of a painting Stephen.

Great colour contrasts, love those trees!

I think you've achieved it. Lovely painting Stephen.

This is super Stephen, you definitely got the burning, dazzling sunlight effect in this painting. The silhouette of the foreground and misty mid ground give the work depth and atmosphere.

That glowing light is just wonderful and so much interest in the darks so effective.

Brilliant and beautifully painted Stephen.

Lovely light coming through the trees and great composition 😊

Beautiful treatment of light.

Very good Stephen, that flash of golden sunshine brings life to it. Must admit I missed the figures until I read the others comments.
