Elephant Hole cave from within

Acrylic, 8" by 10". This is the interior of the cave whose exterior I painted in oil. It wasn't possible to take any sort of decent photograph inside the cave, so I sketched it from memory, and painted this from the sketch. It's a bit fanciful, reflecting its genesis, but quite close to what it felt like to be in there (and wondering if I was going to be able to get out again without ripping my clothing to shreds and breaking ankle, wrist, or leg...)
